Weihao’s use of the metaphors mess and the third eye/voice graphically sums up the objective side and the subjective side of an effective pedagogy needed for the A Level Art coursework journey. It will be interesting to collect a variety of teaching and learning approaches that can be separately grouped under these metaphors. Many interesting educational issues pertaining to the teaching and learning of Art in Singapore may be surfaced with such an exercise.
